CTIC attended the Official Session on the creation of the Universidade de Leiria e Oeste on May 21, represented by the General Director and the Head of the Training Department. The session took place at Campus 2 of the Instituto Politécnico de Leiria and was attended by the Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro, and the Minister of Education, Science and Innovation, Fernando Alexandre.
CTIC is a partner of the Instituto Politécnico de Leiria and will certainly continue to collaborate with the future Universidade de Leiria e Oeste and the Câmara Municipal de Leiria, always with the goal of promoting the development, innovation, and growth of the region, while strengthening the attraction of talent, investment, and new opportunities for young people.
The creation of the new university represents progress and innovation for the entire region, in which CTIC also plays a key role, working collaboratively to strengthen the national scientific and technological system and reinforce territorial cohesion, preparing the industry for a future that is more diversified, attractive, and competitive.
