This project, led by CTIC – Centro Tecnológico das Indústrias do Couro, aims to improve the sustainable development and competitiveness of the leather industry in Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Uganda by strengthening the capacities of vocational education and training (VET) institutions.
The meeting aimed to strengthen ties between the various partners, which is always essential for a partnership of this nature to achieve results that benefit everyone; review the progress of the work carried out, including the development of several modules on the tanning process specially designed for teachers and trainers; evaluate the in-person training delivered at INESCOP – Centro de Innovación y Tecnología, also a partner in this project; and discuss the tasks to be carried out in the coming months.
On Monday, three new courses within the project will begin, benefiting the African partners. The modules will be delivered by CTIC technicians.
Once again, CTIC is leading an Erasmus project and is already recognized as a key partner by the various institutions with which it has collaborated on projects, as well as by the EU.
Erasmus+ projects represent an undeniable and strategic added value for companies, educational institutions, and organizations. These projects promote innovation, internationalization, and the development of essential skills for today’s labor market.
